Adventures from the Studio
The Studio gathers earlier chapters from the world of ANDI — original works inspired by animals, travel, conservation, memory, humor and a little cheeky mischief.
Here, sea turtles make their way toward the shore; hatchlings find the sea beneath a full moon; horses, foxes and polo ponies race, leap and gallop — tally ho! Giddy Up! Vixen Racer arrives wearing pearls; island stories, watercolor studies and my favorite creatures find their way onto Italian silk, organic cotton and silk/cotton blends.
From scarves and bandanas to The Gathering Throw for picnics, tailgates and gatherings around favorite places, each piece carries a story of its own.
Some designs began with an adventure, some with a haiku, some with an animal I wanted to give a voice to — and others simply with an idea that made me smile and brought joy to my heart to share.
These are continuing adventures from the studio — expressive, personal pieces are created to be worn, shared, collected and rediscovered through changing seasons, celebrations and the everyday occasions that make up our lives.
